This is what I gotta say about the negative comments about me letting Sissy hang her head out of the car window in town. I got my first dog, a beagle, 59 years ago and have had a dozen dogs of assorted variety since then. All were house dogs, all slept in the same bed I slept in, all rode in the back of pickups and all rode in cars with the windows down. None knew what a cage, kennel or crate was. I treated them like they were my kids, and like my kids, they never fell or jumped out of the back of the damn truck or the car window. Now it's just Sissy and I and she listens better than any dog (or kid) I ever had. So don't worry about the welfare of my dog. I guarantee you she is better cared for than any dog you know.
