My Autistic 12 year old has a hilarious quirk.

So, ya know how Ray in Rain Man walks around quoting “Who’s on First?” all the time?
So that, with my son, except it’s the Seymore/Chalmers “Steamed Ham” scene.
If I’m in the room I have to be “mother” and yell
“SEYMORE THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE!”

Just thought I’d share that with y’all I love my son so much.

This is my husband’s twin and the uncle of my two children. We are very close with him and his fiancé.

About five years ago, my daughter was visiting them. She was around 12 years old at the time and their pitbull mix fit her lip. She had about 12 stitches healed and has a permanent scar because of it.

The dog was put down shortly after and they have since adopted two small non-aggressive dogs.

In the next few weeks, they will be moving into our neighborhood and we were very excited about that but just today he informed us he’s taking in their father’s (deadbeat father story for another day)

dog since he is moving out of the country and no airline will take the dog because of it’s breed.

I’m beside myself. The dog is a mastiff and I have major reservations about it moving in with the two small dogs and I am adamant that my children can never go over there, especially after what happened with their previous dog.

Both my husband and his brother-in-law say I’m overreacting.

To be fair, I’ve never met this dog and it could be a very well behaved dog and I am as big of a dog person as it gets, but I just have a bad feeling about this kind of dog and I’m extra wary because of what happened to my daughter.

Are there any mastif lovers/owners here that want to tell me I am judging this type of dog I’d love to hear from you.

To add apologies for labeling the Dog “aggressive in the title, but that is how the airline labeled this breed has a reason for not flying them.
