Is a 1h 15m layover even possible in Dublin?
I’m finding some good fares on the AS app for SEA to CDG through Aer Lingus but they have a 1:15 layover.
Is that even possible? You would have to clear customs in Dublin before heading to Paris right?

After flying to Tokyo with friends and seeing them get upgraded I dove into this subreddit. Weirdly it’s kind of a hobby and I’ve learned way too much about credit card points, status, upgrade certificates, and lounge access.
I’m fortunate enough to have a business where it makes sense to have the Atmos Summit card and put expenses through it. It’s been easier for me than some to buy status.
Yesterday on a domestic flight I was upgraded to first class! Mission accomplished! Y’all get sandwiches in first class on 3 hour flights instead of chips???
The goal was to be able to travel internationally business class, I’m learning that might be a little harder than I thought. Still, might be able to make that happen. I just need to be a bit more flexible on timing.
For anyone else on this same weird journey I highly recommend the site seats.aero to find the best value for your miles and which flights you could be upgraded on. I pay for the pro version and think it’s worth it.
I bought tickets to the game yesterday. I want to represent my team and fans with passion and noise. Besides just being loud what chants, cheers, or traditions should I know?
I’m a relatively new fan of soccer. Like everyone from Seattle I played it growing up. Been to maybe 2 dozen games, mostly Sounders games, including the Leagues Cup last year. Also attended an FC Porto vs S.L. Benfica in Lisbon.
Sounders have the Boom Boom Clap, in Lisbon they had this crazy sustained high pitched whistling and literally lit their seats on fire. At Seahawks games we have our SEA HAWKS yell we do three times in a row.
What do I need to learn to be in unison with my more seasoned US Men’s Team fans? I feel extremely lucky to be in a place that I could swing tickets. I want to make sure to bring the energy, teach me your ways.
So here’s the situation. By next month I’ll have Titanium, I’ll have several upgrade certificates available to use, and I’ll have a 100,000 point companion fare to use. At the end of September my wife and I are flying to Paris. What are my best strategies to find a flight where I could get into business class?
