[Oshan] Apparently Danny Musovski’s whole tooth came out in one piece — root and all — and was able to be surgically re-attached. He has a brace keeping it in place and will wear a mouth guard in games, but he’ll be available this week. Yeimar also fully back in training

Upcycled Scarf Sweatshirts

My girlfriend recently turned one of her Sounders scarves into a hoodie. I figured I’d post here to see if anyone else would want a hoodie or sweatshirt made from their scarves. I told her it was a really cool idea that I think a lot of fans would like, so this is that first tester to see if that theory is true.

Instead of holding up your scarf during “Scarves Up, Seattle” you can just raise your arms instead lol.

Also, if anyone has extra Sounders scarves they’d be willing to donate so she can make more, that would be hugely appreciated.

Go Sounders!

More first row in 300s tickets at face value just dropped on FIFA’s website

If you missed them last time. It‘s incredibly expensive, but still the best deal you can get now looking at the resale market.

Edit: I’m just the messenger lol

Ranked: Top 50 USMNT players for World Cup, based on club form (Hilarious Sounders representation)

ESPNFC uses an, admittedly, simplistic formula to rank the Top 50 American players in world soccer. They use a combination of Transfermarkt value, % of minutes played, and team quality.

I was cackling at the Sounders representation on the list.

LAFC prediction poll

After a disappointing loss to the other LA team, the Sounders go on the road to face LAFC at BMO.

This has been a very tough matchup for Seattle with 14 losses, 4 draws and only 7 wins all time vs LAFC.

In MLS regular season play, it's 10, 4 and 4 respectively and BMO is probably the toughest place for the Sounders to play in with only 2 wins and 1 draw out of 11 games.

It was 3 straight losses to start the matchup history with the Sounders getting the first win on the fifth try but what a win it was. 3-1 away in the conference finals on route to the 2019 MLS cup win.

Last year the season series was split with each team winning their home game. In Seattle it was 5-2 and in LA it was 4-0.

Hopefully we can hear some jingles bells on Sunday night and the Sounders can go into the world cup break on a high with a big away win!

Daryl Dike... Seattle Sounder??

Could the Seattle Sounders sign EFL Championship and West Bromwich Albion striker Daryl Dike?

Dike, a former Orlando City and MLS Superdraft pick, is coming off a double achilles tendon issue that sidelined him for over 80 matches. The USMNT striker has been released at expiration of his contract making him a free agent this summer.

His current reported wage of $1.9 million would likely see a significant cut. With the Sounders estimated salary cap space around $4.1 million he could be an incredible option if the club could get the 25-year-old on a contract around $1 million to $800k.

Galaxy poll results

I'm not gonna lie to you guys, I was only able to watch the first 10 minutes of this game so I guess I got the best bit of play the whole game.

A rotated starting XI with 5 players who don't usually start getting the nod.

It started off well with a great through ball from Morris into Musovski who got denied by Marcinkowski and then he got his tooth knocked out later on and got subbed off.

A few minutes later and a great pass from Reus for an even better through ball allowed Gabriel Pec to open the scoring for the Galaxy.

After that, from what I've gather from match reports is that it was a bit of a sloppy game for Seattle with only a few chances to tie the game, including an incredible save for Marcinkowski from a Arriola header and a long range free kick with another diving save.

Galaxy had chances to increase the lead, with the biggest one being Reus getting past Andrew Thomas but missing the goal at the end off a tough angle, but (un)fortunately it only happened at the end with a quick counter attack and a Pec assist for an easy tap in for Matheus Nascimento.

Marcinkowski had 5 saves to get his first clean sheet in 10 games this season but unfortunately Andrew Thomas had his worst performance all year finishing the game without a single save made.

Seattle finished the game with more possession (58 vs 42), more shots overall (15 vs 9) and on target (5 vs 2) but less big chances (2 vs 3) which led to less xG too (1.45 vs 2.19).

In terms of the poll, the massive win vs San Jose in midweek brought the confidence in the team back and a massive show of support happened with an increase in "any win" percentage from 49.5 to 93.2%!

It was supposed to be a somewhat easy game with only 16 people voting for anything other than a win which means that 8.6x more people voted for a 2 goal win than a non win.

Shout out the sole person who voted for a 2 goal loss.

With that, the poll record becomes now 2-11 with one final game coming up before the world cup break.

First time visitor. Questions about parking

I'm from Little Rock, Arkansas and will be making my first trip to Seattle for sightseeing and the Portland game on July 16th. My wife and I have seen Sounders play Dallas in Frisco many times including the 2016 playoff game where we eliminated them in the 2nd leg lol but this will be my 4 year old sons first Sounders game. Anyway was curious how parking works. I know there is a deck for Lumen and another for T-Mobile Park. Is there typically enough parking for a midweek game in this case Thursday? How early should I arrive? Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

Did I Miss a Gamee?

I try to follow the sounders closely, but somehow I missed all mention of us playing RSL recently. Glad we at least got revenge for our loss earlier in the season

Sounders kit/jersey ideas moving forward...

I saw this and thought it would look amazing as a Sounders kit. I'm not a fan of the template look adidas has been going with and wish we had more forward thinking ideas when it came to our kits (uniforms). We are one of the tech capitals of the world, we should have some really cool futuristic, slick, and edgy looking kits like when we had XBOX as our sponsor.

This kit pictured focuses on the bright green and blue that pops and has the shiny silver numbers that really look good with it as well.

What are your thoughts?

[vs LAG] Stock Up, Stock Down

Not much to say on this one. LAG was decidedly the better team. And how come opposing keepers routinely have insanely good games against us?

Stock Up

No one played above their level in this one. Ragen and Nouhou had decent games but it’s what we’ve come to expect of them.

Stock Down

Brian Schmetzer - His job is to pick the starting lineup based on player availability, and manage the subs appropriately. We can all see Dotson isn’t a starter. Ferreira is our best attacking player, so pulling him was odd. Playing Cristian at CB was a mistake, as he left the player wide open on the second goal. Lining up Kingston against Paintsil was like throwing a kid into the deep end of the pool and just hoping he can figure out how to swim.

I could call out Musovski for blowing his one on one with the keeper after some brilliant line-breaking passes from Ragen and Morris, but the man sacrificed his tooth for the team. Come back strong, Danny.

If you ever wondered what the lovechild of the Pitch Black kit and the Salish Sea kit would look like, look no further! Bonus: available in Obed!

u/RysloVerik — 4 days ago

I know this will interest some of you. Classic kit related.

Unfortunately not my size. Also, CFS10 is typically a discount code that works for 10% off. Not sure what the price will be until it goes live. ClassicFootballShirts.com

***UPDATE***
$209, and given a 10/10 mint rating which I’m not sure I’ve ever seen on CFS. That’s really not that bad of a price all things considered. Link below.
