Drain Crown Question

I was thinking about drain crown recently. I have some questions because I’ve never really used it outside of garchomp or decidueye once or twice.

does the healing from it stack with other items like muscle band? I’m pretty sure from decidueye that it stacks with crit damage from basic attacks, right?

somebody in a recent thread was telling me it doesn’t work on shields? is that base shields or ANY shields? if so, is this a bug? if not, why is this the case?

is there a good way to make it work on most melee pokemon and if not, would it be too OP if it got a significant buffs

newly fostered cat biting. Details below.

hello all. I’m sure this is the 1,000th post like this but I want to give my specific details.

we had 2 strays we took in, two brothers, and they're about a year old. we don’t know their exact ages but when they showed up on our property they were roughly 5/6 months. We have had them for about a year now and they’re settled in. they aren’t the cat this post is about. the post this cat is about is the third cat we adopted this last month.

third cat is also a black cat. he was apparently left abandoned in a box by the shore, found starving, and fostered and nursed back to health. we felt bad, so we adopted him. he is estimated to be roughly 5/6 months old. he looks a bit larger in my opinion but the foster representative swore he was about 6 months. so we figure if we’re going to get a third cat he’s in a good age range to introduce them.

so fast forward and we‘re at about 3 and a half weeks. we’re in the process of doing screen door feedings and interactions. that is generally going okay but there’s still some hissing. more concerningly is a behavior he has with us humans that hasn’t subsided and in fact may be getting worse - biting.

I know the difference between petting aggression/misdirected aggression, and actual aggression (from pain or stress). this seems to be the later. kitty is very sweet avout 70% of the time. he is magnetic and will stick to your ankles so you must walk with care around him. but randomly, he will latch onto arms or legs HARD. I had had to get a tetanus shot and antibiotic cream in the last week because he bit and broke skin. he also has softer play or pet aggression bites. but he’s also the type of cat where he has slept on me on the couch laying down, and purrs, and scent marks all over, and will rub up against your face. so it’s 3/4 sweet normal cat, and 1/4 anxious unpredictable biting nightmare.

we REALLY do not want to have to rehome him, we don’t know how long that would take and we already spent money on extra cat supplies. not to mention we’d feel bad, with or without his “tragic background” but especially so with it. but I feel unsafe just walking around the bottom floor of the home where his “home base” room is. I don’t even spend time in there anymore and it is my office room! I’m getting stressed out and wifey is sad because she wants it to work out but is unsure as well. we are planning on taking him for a vet appointment to diagnose possible anxiety. he hasn’t been to one yet anyway so he needs a visit, and we are trying to rule out pain-related or anxiety related stress. kitty was given all his shots, blood tests, and neutered by the foster agency before we adopted, btw.

Anal cyst with blood - possibly from bidet?

Hey, so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm looking for some advice and "google it" has become a worse and worse solution over the years

In the last 2 days, I noticed a mildly (and I mean barely at all) painful "sensation" to the left of my anus. I had to like bend over in the mirror like an ape inspecting itself to even see it. Didnt touch it, figured it's a hemorrhoid or cyst, and upon initial googling, got scared it could be an abscess or fistula. So I made an appointment with a colorectal place, but that appoint ment is not until Monday afternoon (for reference it is currently friday night). Well, thursday night into friday morning, it must have burst/drained on its own overnight. So first thing I did in the bathroom that morning (this morning) was wipe it with wet wipes and change underwear.

No issues with it today except mild pain when sitting on harder surfaces. Until about 20 minutes ago. Took a shit, and I noticed blood on the wet wipe after using bidet. Now, it may have been the pressure of the bidet irritating the still freshly-drained abscess, but it still worried me a bit. It stopped after like a minute, but the most I've ever seen blood "down there" is when I'm in a place where I have to use toilet paper and no bidet is available (I switched a while ago now to all bidet) - sometimes excessive dry wiping gives faint blood impressions, I'm assuming from "scraping" or "chaffing" the dry anal skin.

Any advice on what to do in the meantime? I know this isn't like excessive panic inducing but my anxiety gets the better of me in regards to seeing alarmist posts about "blood from your anus? CANCER CANCER CANCER" and this is external from a very specific spot not from INSIDE or IN the poop at all.

hello,

me and my girl have recently moved in together and we were using toilet blue pucks. I found that the material inside them tended to sort of coalesce in the tank and upon looking it up, I found a post on this board saying you should never use those because they can degrade and generally ruin certain parts of the toilet.

However, in that post, and in other comments, I looked up, trying to get a clear answer. It seems that the hang on toilet pucks that clip on or stick on the side of the bowl are better alternatives that don’t do any or as much damage to your toilet bowl or system. I was wondering if anyone here could verify that for me because I would prefer to have something passively helping keep the toilet clean not to mention provide a fresh scent, but I will forgo using any of them if they’re that bad for the toilet. thanks.

okay so we recently got a third cat. all three are black cats. the first two are siblings, two brothers with alliterative names.

would it be better, thematically, to keep the “-S” name theme, (or C sounding like S) or would it be more artsy to go with a different letter entirely?
