Was lucky enough to get this as a birthday present from my sister. Big big box of gorgeousness.
The rules are not too complicated, however the strategy to win is extremely daunting!
Taking it one step at a time but so far enjoying the challenge.
Not sure how I did it but I beat the bot first play. Lots and lots to think about in this gorgeous worker placement game from Garphill Games. Once you get into the bot is super simple, the hard thing is making your own decisions!
Finally managed to finish. When I say finish I mean have my society die of hunger and the game ending because of maximum discontent. Wonderful!
What are people’s thoughts on this game for solo play only? Keeps popping up in my feed and I love the look/theme. Has a high complexity which I’m definitely down for. Any expansions essential?

Super close game with Asha as my Seeker. Final two hands:
Zero progress on the Sea Of Dreams master challenge, 4 on Spidery Legs gauntlet, 3 on Vainglory’s Symphony (1 more game lost)
Played Precision (3 and no roll) with 4 boost. Now 7 on master.
Played Cheat the system and moved the 4 to the master, added 1 more with Asha’s opportunist card. Still had to roll even though 12 was reached. Of course rolled 1 Darkness. Had to consult the net to find out the win counts before the fail!

As the title says I smashed Scorn. Much easier than Callous Lab. Love the theme and the artwork is fantastic. Tempted to look into Kinfire Chronicles Nights Fall, however fantasy is usually not my thing so we shall see.
I have Terraforming Mars, Prelude and Automa in my cart. I have tried to learn on BGA but I don’t really like big games online so I’m not getting it, prefer to have it front of me to learn. Should I check out?
Edit: Was unaware of the problematic designers so I think I will pass on this. Plenty of other games out there.
Third time playing, second with the Works of Wonder expansion. Had a practice go just with base game and won quite easily. The new bot is another thing. So much better, very engaging and super fun, but harder to win. Fantastic afternoon.
Bought the expansion as well as I read it improves solo play and treated myself to some silver.

Lost convincingly! Very enjoyable though, a lot of strategy in such a simple game.
