Plug-in PET switch grip final!

Here's the final version of the switch grip. I glued it slightly off but it works great! Screen glows in the dark and I made a finger grip on the back so your index finger has something to grip. The screen can pop out and is glow-in-the-dark and holographic. The photos dont show the holographic effect well...

The files will be available for download on thingiverse for free. Ill be posting the link in the comments. For those without 3d printers, ill be selling the grip on my etsy account.

Thank you all for the growing support!

Plug-In PET switch grip update!

This is why we prototype and test. First revision came out okay, but hit a snag at the left joycon grip slide rail. After adding the grip portion to the back, the rail didnt allow the joycon to slide on. I've made an alteration which made a space for the joycon to slide on while also providing the person holding the PET to still have good grip and feel immersed.

Side note. I printed a small glow in the dark screen to pop in with a holographic effect and placed some shiny aluminum foil behind it inside the front PET grip. It should make a glowing screen effect. (Dont mind the dirt on the right of the screen, it got baked in)

Lastly. After these files are tested I plan to put the product available for sale on my etsy as well as make the STL files free of charge for folks to download. I love the megaman community and want to support it in any way I can. I only hope folks help me out and buy from my shop in the near future.

Thanks always,

Switch grip PlugIn PET UPDATE

I've modified the top grip as to not hurt your fingers when gripping. I've also added a back section to glue to the front section to allow for better grip while holding the joycons and the PET itself. I'll be printing the revision tonight and will post another update tomorrow. Once they are properly tested, ill be posting the STL files free of charge on thingiverse. Ill be selling the fully built kit with color and glow in the dark screen on my etsy soon. Keep an eye out.

Finished prototype Plug in Pet switch grip

I am going to modify the top left corner as it hurt my finger and I cut it off manually. Adding finger grips along the back will help with grip and possible added holographic screen effect for future prints. What do you all think?
