I’m looking at an original r5 or an r7 for a secondary camera.

I currently shoot landscapes, people, and wildlife with an r6ii. I prefer shooting wildlife and landscapes but those don’t pay for my expensive hobby yet. I recently sold my backup camera (rp) and am need of another. I’m hoping to get something that doesn’t collect dust in my camera bag as just a backup/second body. My only 2 complaints with my r6ii is I hit the buffer quickly when shooting wildlife and if I can’t get close enough with my 150-600 it lacks the megapixels to crop effectively on small animals. I was thinking the r5 would be a great backup, but I have an irrational hate for buying/dealing with cf cards and the buffer is no better even with the more expensive cf card. The r7 peaked my interest as it’d work great for the wildlife, but it’d really limit wide shots and the buffer seams pretty bad. They seem to be priced pretty evenly in my area, so price isn’t really a factor.

Transfer case issues

So I decided to rebuild my transfer case while I was rebuilding my nv4500. Now I can’t get the transfer case to shift properly. I have a 98 Chevy 3500 single cab long bed. The transfer case is a borg warner 4401. It shifts into 4lo and neutral no issues, but when I try to go into 2h or 4h with everything together it won’t go. I pulled the snap ring off the top of the clutch assembly and was able to shift it fine. It’s like my main shaft shrunk. First few photos are showing it in its last shift point and the clutch assembly is past the snap ring point. The other issue is no junkyards around me have this transfer case. Do any of yall know much about these? I can’t find a single write up about them
