captions are taking me longer than the actual video

i thought making short videos would be pretty quick but nope... half my time is just spent typing out captions and fixing little mistakes. there has to be an easier way to generate video captions without spending forever checking them lol. what are you guys using? Appreciate all suggestions.

AWD mower ruts my wet yard, are tracks any better?

I have been running an AWD robotic mower for several years which has been amazing for the dryer months. During rainy summer days, not so much. There is slight grade on the back half of my property, and the moisture gets trapped until afternoon, which gets really tricky.

The AWD wheels pack up frequently with wet clippings and worse, mud. It loses traction on slight incline. In its effort to get out of it, it digs ruts into the softer part of the turf. So I ended up having to get it out, meaning I have to stay within the proximity whenever that happens. Not so automated in those spring months, that's for sure.

This is why I am seriously considering a tracked unit, and I have been researching robotic mowers with tank tracks like the Yarbo Y Series and others, thinking that the traction on the tracks is much stronger and it wouldn't dig rug. Because of its weight distribution, theoretically speaking, it shouldn't sink.

But it is a heavy machine, I am worried about its turning mechanics though. Whenever it needs to pivot or do a zero-turn or any type of sharp turns, would it tear the grass or the yard? That would be money NOT well spent if that's the case.

For those who have experience with tracked units, do the tracks really keep it from getting stuck like what my research tells me? Also if anyone has experience with Yarbo, I'd like to know how did it hold up. All advice appreciated.

Mapped my back field and finally let it run on its own. Here's how the automated mowing actually help up.

I finally finished driving the boundary for my back field recently, and here is what I had gone through.

Ngl, the moment that I hit start had seeing if the RTK positioning actually translated into clean, automated lines on a field this large, got me more excited than I should. So i watched the bot, in this crazy 85 degress heat, watched it do its thing.

Letting go is hard: The app told me the bot was on track, but when it got near the back treeline where the satellite signal is potty, I panicked and paused twice. It was fine, but I wasnt. I didn't want to ruin my yard, or the $5k mower.

Thumb Controls Slip sometimes: Driving it around with the on-screen joystick during mapping feels like playing an atari video game (yeah I am this old). My thumb slipped near the boundary, making a weird zig-zag on the map that I just want it to be a perfect straightline, yeah that's kinda my ocd acting.

It's Slow, But It Works: It doesn't move fast. But then I realize I am standing in the shade holding a phone instead of breathing in the fume from a traditional mower.

It was smooth, but I feel like I may be more anxious than I should be. My yard obviously isn't too complicated compared with some of those I read on Reddit. But forgive me, this is the first time. It did its job. And I watched probably more closely than I should for the first few times, after a week, I just let it run its course. So far, so good.

Is it just me or do you all watch the automated mower do its job when it is supposed to be automated? How long did it take you guys to trust yours?

Are the vendors that handle hardware logistics without replacing your ITAM system?

We already use servicenow and have our asset management process in place, so were not looking to switch system and gap for us is the hands on works. we need a partner that can handle things like buying devices, getting them ready for employees, shipping them out, collecting them when needed, storing them, handling repairs, and disposing of old equipment. most vendors we've looked at seem to want you to adopt their platform first, but wed rather keep our current setup, does anyone here worked with a provider thats happy to plug into an existing ITAM system and just handle the logistics??
