Trying to clean up this beauty!

So the valve before this rib cage shower has worn splines on the shaft of the temperature valve. Does anybody know where either a replacement shaft (which has a big threaded disk inside the body) can be found (ha ha) or where there is someone who can restore the splines on the shaft so that the handle will actually rotate the shaft?

Made for me in the 90’s
