end of an era

for those that are on this sub frequently, you may have heard me talk about having the original battery still in use. that ended today, i put it in the recycle bin at home Depot. it was leaking some clear liquid from the seams. so, just for info for others, 14 years was the lifespan of that battery, with probably 250-300 uses, and i left it in the garage every summer, it's 96 degrees today, so it took a beating with heat, but i brought it in during winter.

it was still working, at about 70-80 % runtime, but i don't mess with li ion batteries. and that's coming from someone that used to take ni cad battery packs and rebuild them with ni mh cells

can i tell work that i can't use AI due to religious reasons?

I'm in IT and trying not to kill the planet by using AI. AI is useless for what i do anyway, but mgt doesn't understand that
