Track day setup!

Track day setup!

Picked up the trailer from storage today. Thought this was a nice line up lol.

Future track day setup perhaps?
Never crossed my mind that the trailer has good uses outside of just summer camping as well. (pretty new to the trailer world, it’s awesome). Although I still get anxiety hitching up and hauling 😞

Major first world problem tho…driveway/garage too small. Parking is gonna be tricky this summer.

1 week ownership review

One week ownership review:

In one sentence this Porsche 911 C2S, is indeed a daily driveable supercar.

That said…

I truly hate having to manually turn off the auto start, stop button through the screen.

Second, it does not need any phone holders or a cupholders or anything.  Tuck your phone away. Keep a tiny bottle of water or a small cup of coffee for your cupholder and you’re good to go.

Phone goes in the door storage compartment or in your centre console plugged in, no big deal.

The acceleration punch, the seating, the fitment, the sounds, all that stuff we all know, it’s goddamn beautiful.

Washing it is a breeze. Esp compared to my previous vehicles.

Ergonomics, wow. For a low slung seating position, it’s attentive and comfortable.

Tactile.  All the main controls are mostly physical but I do hate having to use the screen for basic functions.

Parking anxiety is real. But what can you do.

It gets the right amount of attention... Enough to know that you are driving something special, but not so much that you feel like a douche.

I can’t imagine needing to/wanting/driving any 911 which is faster/better.

It’s just not necessary.

But I get it if u do.

Fin.

Ps. It looks like a spaceship at night

Hey folks. Just curious what y’all are using for phone/cup placement/holder in your 992’s?
I‘ve seen a few online but wanna hear what guys prefer.

I might forego them but also handy if theres a clean solution to both.
TIA!

….unless your fine with losing a ton of productivity.

Sitting in your garage exclusively when you’re at home.

Endlessly staring at pics of it when not with it.

Having a feeling of “geez, this sucks” when driving your non - Porsche vehicle and a far inferior “sports car” of whatever type pulls up/past you. Bonus suck points if the driver of aforementioned vehicle looks like a tool/douchebag.

Doing mental gymnastics as to how you can restructure your work/personal commitments to optimize driving time (ie cannot drive the car to work so how can I get back home to drive it sooner).

And on and on.

But srsly. This car is a friggin riot.

As many of you have said before me, if you can afford it, just buy the Porsche.

Baseball practice time with the kids now. I won’t be able to go for a drive till after bedtime. 😩

First post ever. I feel the car dictated so. Lots of lurking in this sub before my acquisition. Been passively looking for a couple years now. This one popped up and I put a deposit down over the phone. It’s better than I could’ve ever imagined. 2021c2s. PPI and warranty till 2030. Picked her up 3 days ago but I’ve barely had a chance to take her out (3 young kids activities and gear).

My legit dream car. Never even drove a modern Porsche before this. It’s wild. I get what you all say now. Once you drive one, you get it. I get it.
aside for a minor rear bumper scratch, it’s like new.
All the key areas are PPF’d and it’s ceramic coated. Brand new pilots all around. Came w a set of winters as well.
