Ever since returning to the states from Japan I have deeply missed the ramen there. So today I made homemade ramen, char siu chicken, fried rice, and gyoza dumplings with crispy garlic sauce. It tasted like I was back in Iwakuni. Oh as luck would have it the local supermarket sells Asahi!

Ever since returning to the states from Japan I have deeply missed the ramen there. So today I made homemade ramen from scratch, marinated char siu chicken overnight, fried rice, and tried my hand at making gyoza dumplings with crispy garlic sauce (I bought the garlic sauce). Oh and as luck has it a cold Asahi from our local store! It tasted like I was back in Iwakuni.

Kids came over for supper tonight because I was making pizza. We all designed our own stuffed crust pizzas and seasoned/sauced our own wings. Even broke out a few bottles of our homemade root beer for the occasion on such a beautiful night.
