I received some meals and will serve the first ones tonight. They are in tv dinner trays with clear plastic and a cardboard sleeve. The heating instructions say to remove the cardboard sleeve only. So the plastic stays on (no vent hole) and I put it in the oven? Seems like I should poke a hole in the plastic or even remove it. It’s been about 50 years since I had a tv dinner and I can’t remember if I vented them.
I’m new to this, so I’m sorry if it’s a crazy question. I have dark gray and black ring doorbell. For the old folks around here, how do I make it more obvious that this is a doorbell, and where to press. I see ‘push’ stickers on Amazon, but they aren’t high-vis. The light around the button comes on after it’s pressed. It would make more sense to come on when someone approaches. There must be something short of turning on the porch lights….
I just got a ring doorbell and camera (and chime). The doorbell and camera are battery operated. I’m trying to figure out what animal is digging in my yard - prob a raccoon but could be a skunk or armadillo. My backyard camera doesn’t seem to know when something is back there. I can go to LIVE and see our bushes being trimmed, but no triggered signal or recording. I have it set on the most sensitive. What am I missing? Thanks.
My sister has a Moen, Flo .75 in. Smart Water Monitor and Automatic Water Shut Off installed in her scuttle/ crawl space where her hot water heater is located. The app would never connect, so nobody has an app to monitor it. She is currently away and has (had) a house sitter. The water keeps shutting off, and her plumber believes it might be because the ‘average water usage’ changed from virtually none, to the house sitter arriving and using water. He has been over twice to reset it, but it keeps shutting off as if there is a leak. I suspect she bought ‘the wrong tool for the job’. She really just wanted something to alert her (or her neighbors) if she had a water leak in her crawl space. Does anyone know about these leak detectors? Is it possible it’s just defective? Any suggestions?
I live in Florida with a one story house. The kitchen sink is in the middle of the house with no easy access to the attic above (vaulted ceiling ). It takes several minutes for the hot water to get to the kitchen, and I want a tankless heater. BUT I only have 120v in that wall. The range is not nearby, and it would be difficult to drop a new line from the ceiling. Is there a tankless heater that can run on 120v? I have a dishwasher but sometimes I just want hot water in less than 4 minutes. All the houses of this model have the same problem, so it’s not a buildup in the lines. Any suggestions?
