Does anyone else find Yuji suffering just redundant now?

To me it just feels like the modern spider-man approach to writing where this characters life sucks and has zero good moments. Im not against the ‘suffering builds character’ trope but after modulo it just seems ridiculous at this point, but that could just be me, what do you guys think?
