Fancied some beans and cheese on toast. Buttered toast, pan reduced beans with a knob of butter, extra mature cheddar and parmesan, some leftover serrano ham, drizzle of EVOO. Paired with a yorkshire tea double bagger.
enjoyed this mornings version so much and needed to use the tomatoes while they were fresh so made it again this afternoon. This time with garlic rubbed sourdough, 2 grated tomatoes, serrano ham, rocket watercress and spinach, burrata, extra virgin olive oil. Washed down with a glass of vino.
After over indulging on all fronts of late I went for something a little less calorific. Pan con tomate, 2x smoked back bacon, poached egg, yorkshire tea.
2x cumberland sausages formed into a patty, 2x smoked back bacon, 2 hash browns finished in butter, 1 golden yolker on a buttered bagel. Yorkshire tea double bagger to kickstart my heart.
4x rashers of smoked back bacon, buttered bread, brown sauce, cup of yorkshire.
This time in the form of leftover pork belly coated in hot honey. Macaroni cheese on the side with diced gherkin and jalapeño to cut through the richness. Leffe blonde to wet the whistle.
Today’s vessel for this purveyor of porky comestibles: mass produced supermarket bagels featuring: Cumberland sausage x2 formed into a patty, smoked back bacon x2, yank cheese, chop brown sauce. Swilled down with a yorkshire tea double bagger. The keen eyed of you will notice there’s no egg and for that, I’m truly sorry; it was an oversight when I nipped to the CoOp. Daddy’s back.
