I came across this YouTube link: https://youtu.be/M61qwbaW09o?si=YPfrBkMN61e9rIRn and decided to buy the necessary equipment to convert it to just a traditional system. What I discovered was my oil level was concerningly low and very very black, despite me using the easy change system every season.
A replacement engine is over $1,000. So this small investment is very much worth it if you want the mower to last.
