Who are some good Youtubers I can watch for some HxH content?

I like theorycrafting the most. I'd still take an analysis here and there. I hate newworldreview because he keeps repeating the same shit over and over again maybe so he can get it past some 8 minutes to run ads.

Does anybody else wish HxH was like Marvel or DC where multiple writers and artists get to explore the world?

I love stories where we explore uncharted areas. I can't get enough of them. So far only Toriko, Made in Abyss and Hell's Paradise have been able to satisfy my interest. There's no way in hell we are actually getting any meaningful time on the actual dark continent. Authors almost always have a huge issue with having supernatural foe being the final villain. They always make humanity is the biggest danger storylines after rushing the supernatural enemies. It's gonna be Gyro, let's be real.

I know this will never happen but I wish Jump or Togashi allowed multiple mangaka he trusts to take over and explore different regions of the dark continent just so we could get more content. Hell, it could be about the past expeditions. We have seen a shorter form of this happening with Tokyo Ghoul mangaka creating the Hisoka origins manga.

I understand the reason DC and Marvel are intimidating to new readers is because a ton of people are writing a lot of stuff and manga industry is doing way better but this is just a fantasy of mine so I could simply get more stuff to read in a genre or trope I love.

TOTK crashes as soon as gameplay starts after the first cutscene

I haven't set up NX optimizer, do I have to? I haven't added any mods either. Simplest install and set up with all the required settings checked for Vulkan. I'm on a i5 9th gen with RTX 3060.

[Death Note] How/why did L assume something supernatural was at work with L's victims instead of nanobots or cult member prison guards poisoning prisoners or other options?

They deleted them under misinformation rule saying it was a mistake.

"CDawg mixed up two syllables in "Chongqing" and the others made fun of him for accidentally saying a slur. He wasn't being racist on purpose."

There was no part of my post that they could actually say was misinformation. You don't say a slur to make fun of someone else accidentally saying a slur. It doesn't matter if it was accidental racism or not. How does it change the fact that they kept using the slur? It was only a mistake the first time. They kept saying it to make fun of Connor's mistake multiple times after. It's weird to call that misinformation. I even added timestamps. It's episode 302 of Trash Taste.

It's not the like the first mistake was completely innocent either. The joke that started it all was a play on the slur because Connor didn't know the name of the city was Chongqing to begin with. He was making a joke about how Chris couldn't say the word because it's offensive for a white man to say it. It was a racist joke to begin with. What other reason would there be to say "you can't say it". There is a video where he does slanted eyes in a video with QtCinderella, too.

There’s a serious problem with how moderation is being handled in this space. It’s one thing to enforce rules consistently, but it’s another to remove posts in a way that feels selective, opaque, or biased toward certain creators. They have not replied to my DM as to why or how it's misinformation.

If posts are being deleted, the community deserves a clear explanation, consistent standards, and accountability. Moderation should not depend on who the creator is or whether a post is inconvenient. If there’s misinformation, it should be corrected with evidence, not used as a vague excuse to silence criticism.

People are noticing the pattern because they already warned me some posts were already deleted and the only reason I posted it is because I didn't see this on here. If you want the community to believe decisions are fair, start by being transparent about them.

Timestamps I was able to get from simply searching transcript of the video.

This happened like three weeks ago. I'm posting it here because I didn't see it on here. Trash Taste consists of three hosts who all started their career in anime related Youtube. Joey is half Japanese and moved to Japan after university and Garnt (Thai British) and CDawg (Welsh) got a chance to move there through GeeXPlus and they decided to create a podcast that became super successful during covid. They were basically the go to guys for Japanese content when nobody could go to or leave Japan during lockdowns. They have been relatively controversy free except for bringing on Pewdiepie a few times and ad sponsors being scammy like Honey or Betterhelp.

In episode 302, Chris Broad, considered the unofficial 4th member showed up and they started drinking. They were talking about making content in China because most of them visited all the prefectures or covered most of the things they could and the Connor (Welsh) said to Chris (British) that he wouldn't do it because "When you get there you won't be able to say C**** C****" because he was trying to make a joke about how Chongqing sounds like the slur. They make fun of him and then others kept using the slur to make fun of the mistake. I've added the timestamps of the use at the bottom if you wanna check.

Some members of the community brought it up as an issue and some even tried to educate the subreddit on how it's a slur that has connection to Chinese Exclusion Act but it was all downvoted or ridiculed. The worst parts of the community defended it saying they're all Chinese now as a joke (none of them are) and how it's not problematic. A lot of people were saying it's not a slur because they haven't seen it being used as a slur. Some self identifying Chinese people came out of the woodworks to defend it saying they don't think it's a slur. It is literally in the Wikipedia as a slur and it's used as a slur in Anglosphere. I'm sure there will be people saying it's not a slur here, too.

Actual Asian subreddits weren't having it, though. They say racism against Chinese is never treated the same way as other forms of hate. They called people who claimed to be Chinese to defend them pathetic when it wasn't them who experienced such slurs in their lives. Someone found a video where Cdawg did the slanted eyes thing with his hands to show that this is not the first time he has been insensitive/racist. The subreddit asked to report it to the company that owns the podcast and email them about all this. This didn't really gain any traction. There is not a single Tiktok or Twitter discussion about this. It was only discussed in two Asian subreddits and Trash Taste subreddit. This slur joke inevitably followed Connor into his charity stream where people kept sending them TTS (text to speech) saying the slur and he had to ask them to stop. No apology, nothing.

The weird thing about all this is that they have been on the right side on most things when most people in the anime space is usually right leaning. Most of these guys call out bad actors who try to make it seem like Japan is going down because of immigrants or graffiti or call out problematic behavior by certain creators, too. They have viral clips of criticizing Mr Beast for "ruining" Youtube or defending their Vtuber friend against Vtuber hate by right wingers and then they spread a slur as a joke and never even acknowledge it. It doesn't help that it all got drowned out by their charity cyclethon they did for immune deficiency foundation. Pewdiepie just got exposed yet again for having a "Jews control all the banks" book on his shelf earlier this year and he was brought on for the cyclethon yet again. They seem to have a blindspot for Pewdiepie no matter what kind of controversy he gets into. It's ironic they're doing the same thing Mr Beast is doing where their controversy gets buried under charity.

Honestly nobody would have cared if they were the usual right wing anime creators.

All this talk about the Corlys actor talking about how people are okay with dragons and purple eyed magicians but black people being part of the group is too much made me aware of this character. Low born dragon rider who is brown skinned? Why didn't House of the Dragon properly explore this?

The game doesn't adjust to me using pillar. Only the secret boss in chapter 5 has been able to hurt me when I do heavy attacks with it. The fact that you can unlock Loong staff pretty early with high damage and special loong attack is just insane. I only started using it in chapter 5 and 6 because early chapters were me struggling to barely win a fight most fights. Did the devs not get time to make the bosses react accordingly to each styles or is this a deliberate choice by them to help people struggling? Or is the game designed to fit a particular style with a particular boss? I only used thrust against the black fire bear boss in the entire game so far.
