How is this my fault

So I was just driving around with a buddy, we were parked somewhere, when I was reversing there was a guy who quite literally didn’t have his lights on and he almost hit me.

He then proceeded to roll his window down and scream “hey Buddy look where people are fucking coming from, you bitch!” Then I looked at him, smiled, and turned my brights on (not at him) to indicate that he needs some form of lighting, as it’s literally pitch black.

Is this my fault for not paying close enough attention, or his for not having any lights (or brights) on.

Although I’m not gonna hold any hate against him, as he looked like he was drunk, or at least a few drinks in going home.

My first (highschool) season

I’m a junior, I’m doing xc for my open 800 and the track coach (who’s also the xc coach) told me to do cross this year. We had our first pr’d season practice, it consisted of 5 miles, come back, short buildups, core, stretch. Later in the day we had to swim for about 40 mins and tread water.

Now we have to wake up at around 6 am for practice, I don’t necessarily hate these practices, considering I’m only doing them for conditioning but I cannot imagine doing this for around 2-3 months. Any tips that I may not know to make these practices easier, more specifically for humid days as where I live is one of the most naturally humid places within the continental US.

The feeling of sadness and nothingness filling me after returning home, what should I do

So I have had my struggles with mental health a lot within the last 2 years, although it always gets better during sport seasons and when I’m with my friends since I always am busy, and typically I am invited to do something almost every single night.

Now I just went on a 5 day trip with two if my friends, one of them had their family with them as well.

During this trip, we really felt alive for the first time, we were finally able to walk nearly anywhere (my hometown is a shit hole) and we did walk everywhere, to places such as pickle ball, smoothie stores, restaurants, etc.

Then I returned home on the 11th (4 days ago by now), one of my friends (I’m very close with, especially recently) has gone somewhere an hour away to work for 3 weeks, we still play games and such, but we can’t see each other.

And there really isn’t anything to do here, especially around my area, what should I do to try to get that “good” feeling again.
