Thoughts and opinions on numbing cream please. To use or not? And why or why not?

Dr pen A20. Likely 18 pin cartridge. Depths will vary but planning for a corrective treatment, not cosmetic.

Anyone have experience with this pen? I just ordered it and would love to hear some feedback.

Also- does anyone know if cartridges from the M8S are compatible with it?
