Looking for the best coffee in the Kirkwood area. Optimally a place with locally roasted beans.

I’m looking to go paddle boarding this week. Is it okay to swim/ let my dog swim at Lake Macbride right now? I feel like the info I’m seeing online is contradictory about whether we should or not. Is the water level too low to go to the public non fenced in beach area?
