2026 UCAT-ANZ preliminary results
Smaller than expected increase.
2544 is the mean. If you are above it, your UCAT won’t subtract from your rank score. If below, then that’s tough.
How’s everyone looking incl sjt? I’ll start: 2835

Did not expect 700+ in a section, let alone a 80th-85th percentile cognitive score.
I am by no means smart and I hope it does not come off that way. What I did differently this time, was I ACTUALLY prepared for it and dedicated 2 weeks to solid UCAT study. I did 6 full mocks (including the four official mocks) but did all the mini-mocks, found a strategy that worked for me, read two books to train my reading speed. My highest mock was a 2120 on Official Mock D. The most important thing I did was not limit myself by thinking "this is an IQ test, I am not smart, so I will only score 70th IF I am lucky", and instead told myself that "I am capable of scoring well, if I prepare well". And it seems like it worked. Good luck to everyone still to sit.
Hey guys. Please let me know your thoughts on where I stand as per my perference list. My understanding is that I will most likely get a UoW interview, and that I am really only competitive for the CASPer schools.
GAMSAT: 57, 66, 60 --> 60.75 W and 61 UW
GPA: 6.935 W and 6.87 UW
CASPer: Q4
Non-rural and domestic student
Bonuses: UoW 1st pref bonus, standalone Honours degree (ANU).
Any insight is appreciated.
So, I just got my June 21 sitting result, and I scored Q4.
I don't remember much from my CASPer sitting, but I do remember finishing it and thinking this was the most stressful and horrendous SJT I have ever done. The only prep I did was the two days before the test, and it was just watching youtube videos in between my tik tok doomscroll sessions. The highest I thought I would score was a Q3.
Please do not take this as a flex but this should give comfort to some because what even is this test LOLLLL???? Has anyone else found themselves in a similar boat?
With POPHLTH grades finally being released, we now know the lower bound for each grade combination across the 4 core courses - as per the student grades distribution dashboard.
1720 successfully completed B107, 1110 completed C110 in s1 (700 enrolled for s2), and 1479 successfully completed P11. Hence 1479 is how big the FY cohort is since only premeds do POPHLTH.
So, using P111, it seems only 175-225 FY students maximum are still in the usual GPA range for FY offers where a 160+ MMI suffices (unless it is 8.25, in which case it seems a 180+ is needed). Those with GPAs outside this range, you are not out the rat race!! Just means your UCAT and MMI will have to carry you.
Thoughts?
