Cauldron set fixed?

Anyone know if the Cauldron set has been fixed?

Want to push pit 130+ on my ring of fire sorc and change from tal rasha to cauldron

If not, what is the workaround/alternative to pushing? Also saw a build using Fractured Winterglass for more tankiness but I suspect damage will be my limiting factor

Cheers

Foamy crema

Hi all

Some beans give me a really good crema (even, flat) and some gives my bad crema (foamy, bubbly). I tried different beans/grinds.

Im a bit of a noob to coffee making - anyone knows how I can get better crema? I guess it should be possible with any type of bean/grind?

Thanks!

Shredded blades or Overheating

Which would you use on boots, both at 17% dmg?

Finally found aspect of shredding blades at para 160 and considering if I should put on my shoes. The vuln multiplier applies to all dmg but Overheating grants Overpower which fuels Blaze Teleport.

Playing Ring of Fire build.

Thoughts?

Orsivane and Ring of Fire

Can anyone help me understand why ring of fire build uses a 2H and e.g. not Orsivane and Elemental Constellation on Focus? Is it solely to utilize Heavenly Strength?

Just found a good 2 GA Orsivane, so thinking about using it :D

Ring of Fire build: Questions

Hi all

Just switched to the Ring of Fore build and instanyly went from T6-T10 with ease, expect that T10-T12 will be the same and I have so many upgrades to go. Really excited about the build actually, it’s quite fun even though so many people hating on it and complaining about not being fast enough.

I have two questions to the build I hope you can help me with:

  1. Why use Nagu Ceh / spirit companions? What do they give us?
  2. Both Mekuna and Northwar uses Teleport and Metoer as Enchantments. However, since we use the Blaze teleport variant, both Enchantments are Fire and we thus get 40% dmg increase instead of 100% dmg increase from Enchantment Master paragon node. Maybe I am missing some point here?

Thanks!

Is Spark Plus worth it?

I have been running the free version for ages now and been OK happy with it. I like the productivity aspect of it (pins, read/not read, done etc.) and the UI, but havent been too happy with the text formatting aspects of it (writing emails, formatting text etc.). Considering upgrading to Plus to get the AI features but not sure if its worth it. I have Claude Pro and it can basically do the same things and probably more.

Maybe someone have experience with other email clients that have the same feel like Spark but works better in terms of formatting?

Thanks!

Consulting use cases for Claude Code and Cowork

Strategy consultants out there: what and how do you use Claude, especially Code, Cowork and Skills for your daily work? See alot of input on this sub from developers and I know finance is starting to leverage Claude but feels like consulting is still in initial stages (more than other industries, as I guess we all are in fact).

New ThinkPad - P15 G1, P15 G2, or T14 G5

Need help choosing between three ThinkPads
I’m trying to decide between three refurbed ThinkPads and would appreciate some opinions from the community. Got three offers from a friend.

A bit of context:
This will not be my primary work laptop. I already have a new HP EliteBook from work. The ThinkPad will mainly be used for personal projects, AI tools, financial modelling PPTX presentations, some vibe coding, and light gaming.
The laptop will mostly move between my desk at home and my desk at the office. It won’t be used for client meetings or frequent travel, so portability isn’t a major factor.

Option 1: ThinkPad P15 Gen 1
Price: EUR 340
Specs:
Intel Core i7-11850H
32 GB RAM DDR4
512 GB NVMe SSD
NVIDIA Quadro T1000 4 GB

Option 2: ThinkPad P15 Gen 2
Price: EUR 400
Specs:
Intel Core i7-11850H
32 GB RAM DDR4
512 GB NVMe SSD
NVIDIA RTX A2000 4 GB

Option 3: ThinkPad T14 Gen 5
Price: EUR 670
Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 8840U
Radeon 780M
32 GB DDR5-5600
512 GB NVMe SSD

My thoughts
The T14 Gen 5 is obviously the newest and most modern machine. Better battery life, lighter, newer platform, DDR5, etc.
The P15 Gen 2 seems like the best performance-per-dollar option, especially with the RTX A2000.
The P15 Gen 1 is interesting because it’s only about $70 less than the Gen 2, which makes me wonder whether the Gen 2 is the obvious choice.

A few questions:

  1. Is the P15 Gen 2 worth the extra EUR 60 over the P15 Gen 1?
If portability isn’t very important, would you still pick the T14 Gen 5?
Which of these are the most future proof in terms of performance and upgradeability?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
