So many medals.
I have 27,721 TP medals just from casually grinding on Vegeta. Those of you who have been going full sicko mode on him must have sooooo many medals.

The Elite Patroller bonus is crazy and if what I read is correct only the top 500 are getting it which seems a tad unfair, we got no problem getting points we don't need the help. lol
6 Stars "If you think torturing your body in there is the same as training then go for it." Goku's Super Soul
(When The Battle Begins)
Lower all Damage Dealt XXL
Increase all Damage Received XXL
Lower Stamina Regen XXL
Triggers Ki Auto Reduction
Triggers Health Auto Reduction
(After Quest Ends)
Increase Score Gained X10
I think a 10X modifier to XP is a hefty reward for that kind of challenge but I also think it would be fun and it would make the grinding less of a slog.
6 Stars "Work hard, study well, eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way!" Master Roshi's Super Soul
(When The Battle Begins)
Lower all Damage Dealt XXL
Increase all Damage Received XXL
(After Quest Ends)
Reduce Score Gained To Zero
Reduce Zenni Earned To Zero
Increase Reward Drop Rate to 100% if the rank achieved was a Z rank.
We all hate RNG and it shouldn't exist at all but if we had this kind of super soul to completely eliminate it as a reward for overcoming a challenge it would have been better.
Now that we know there will likely never be a new Super Soul again(at least not for Xenoverse 2) what kind of souls would ya'll have made?
edited to fix spelling errors
I love when a one bar potato wifi player lags out the Expert mission tour lobby I'm in. It's literally the best fun there is to be had in the game. I log in, try for ten minutes to find a lobby where the host and I have this beautiful connection, green all the way up, and then the one bar shows up and ruins it AS GOD INTENDED!
I got absolutely ZERO glue what the criteria are for who invades Conton City and when but now there's Metal Coolers all around and say what you will about this event being boring(I mostly agree)
Looking up and seeing a swarm of Metal Coolers hovering menacingly above me is pretty fun.
Lets get them track suits!
If you're like me and you want at least 1 of every piece of equipment you can get before going to Xenoverse 3 and leaving Xenoverse 2 with a full wardrobe, then this Frieza event is a good thing.
I know it's one of the more boring events, but if you have that super soul that increases drop rate of costumes you can get the specific track suits associated with some of the characters.
So if that's the kind of thing you're into, you gotta angle your approach so that Frieza/Ginyu/Cooler blah blah blah is the one that gets to you first. Otherwise you end up fighting one of the loser Frieza Soldiers and all I've ever seen them drop is Battle Suit Nappa and Battle Suit Raditz.
(EDIT) I was wrong about a super soul helping drop rate. I don't think they'll help in this case since the equipment parts drop after defeating the fighter not after the mission clears.
Just rout your internet connection through a moldy potato and the other team can't hit anything. They flail around like muppets.
This strategy has worked on me every time. I'm defeated by my own competent internet connection.
So I've done almost exclusively PVE for ten years.
I tried to do a serious match of PVP just a few minutes ago.
I had what I thought was a cheese build, I was gonna use Para Para Dance on people just as they hit me so I'd be free from the dance and they'd be stuck in it then heavy stamina break and Emperor's Death Beam them to death.
Turns out Dimps made it so you can just get out of Para Para if you want. Probably for the best. lol
Anyway I was thoroughly trounced. None of my PVE instincts carry over to PVP.
The upcoming PVP week is gonna be a lot of me getting lucky once or twice and then losing the rest of the time.
The netcode in Xenoverse 2 is such ass. As a mostly PVE player I barely ever engaged with it until these recent grinds to 199.
Getting dropped from lobbies in the middle of a match slows it down SOOOOOOOOOO much.
If we all end up getting Xenoverse 3 and we find out that the netcode is ass AGAIN then we need to do some sort of organized boycott of the game. It's absolutely unacceptable how Dimps/Bandai refuse to fix this busted limping crippled orphan dragging his crutch in the gutter begging for scraps but only getting kicked netcode.
Xenoverse 2 needed more super souls that positively affected the party in a significant way.
There's a few that increase damage by 5% for the whole party or decrease damage taken by 5% but the only Super Soul I've found that significantly aide the party are Hmmm Mmmmm Mmmm(not sure how to spell it) and The Revival Of The Demon World Is At Hand.
The incentives to coordinate builds in Xenoverse 2 are thin as well. There are no quests that can't be beaten with a liberal application of Emperor's Death Beam from one person with the specifications for it.
I hope Xenoverse 3 puts more effort into encouraging us to work together and providing challenges that require it.
Most of my characters are level 120. I did some math to see how long I could expect the grind from 120 to 199 to take.
79 levels at 240 TP medals per level means I need 18960 TP Medals.
A minimum of 42 TP medals per Expert Mission completed means I need 452(rounded up) missions done.
452 missions at 3 per set means I need to run 151(rounded up) sets of Expert Mission Tours.
Average time it takes for a set is between 1-2 minutes(assuming everyone knows what they're doing and no one is running cut scene moves or moves that knock the enemy out of attacks) we'll say 2 minutes to be safe.
This means I should, theoretically, be able to get the TP medals I need to level up completely in about 5 hours of grinding.
And all of this is ignoring any XP increasing super souls that could nab you a few levels during the grind.
5 hours of running EM Tours times 5 characters cause I have three at 199 already.
25 hour grind.
Assuming my approximations of the numbers are correct I should be able to get all my characters up to 199 while this double TP medal event is happening.
(EDIT) Oh I guess I'm also getting 20ish Glory Points per mission so by the time I'm done I should have about 45200(approximately) glory points too.
(EDIT 2) Also all this is assuming there isn't someone routing their Wifi through a potato making Vegeta lag so bad he doesn't take damage.
So the reason they put transformations on a timer was clearly to hinder player power for the sake of balancing the game's encounters and more so PVP. I've seen PVP players for years complaining about transformations just being free damage buffs that push the amount of DPS super high. And while that's true it's not the whole truth. The transformations are more than just buffs they're aesthetic parts of our builds and that's a large part of what people love about them.
In the same way some people like to carry specific looking purses despite backpacks being objectively better at carrying shit based on their capacity and ability hang off your back taking advantage of your center of gravity, some people prefer some transformations over others because of the way they look rather than the buffs associated with them.
The timer is an inelegant solution to a real problem expressed by the PVP community.
I think a more perfect solution to this problem can be found in Xenoverse 2. The newest "transformation" has passive defensive buffs but the damage buffs are locked behind a second "form" for lack of a better term, that functions as a sort of full power mode.
I feel like something similar could be used for all transformations in Xenoverse 3 giving us access to the aesthetic aspect of the form that we want permanently while still locking the majority of the buffs behind a "full power" mode of that transformation that is on a timer.
This I think is the best compromise that can address both concerns and additionally I think it opens the window to potentially more customization options.
Where I in charge at Dimps I'd have transformations be largely aesthetic with access to a temporary buffed up power mode and I'd make it so that those buffs were changeable based on gear, super souls, yada yada giving players an enormous amount of build customization.
Hopefully someone at Dimps and Bandai have had this thought too.
A lot of us are going to be grinding levels over the next couple of days. Here's a friendly reminder to everyone that the skills you use in expert mission tours matter.
The goal is to get through the tours as quickly as possible.
So when you use skills that knock the opponent around, or give them I-frames for a long time you're hurting not just the team, but also yourself.
If someone isn't knocking Vegeta out of the attacks or locking them into that cut scene version of special beam cannon you can secure a KO on Vegeta in less than ten seconds.
So please be considerate of your fellow time patrollers.
I have been paying child support to Majin Buu's babies for ten freaking years. I hope they aren't in Xenoverse 3.
I keep forgetting we're supposed to be getting more DLC for Xenoverse 2 soon.
I don't know what we're getting but I would LOVE to see the PQs get filled out to an even 200 and for one of those PQs to be just a gauntlet where you fight literally every character in the game one after the other.
Also did they ever do anything with that much more challenging AI they were using for the festivals? I remember those fights were good ones, the AI was just better at everything and would snap vanish and use the limit bursts.
What are the odds they add that into some of the newer PQs?
In regards to the Soul Switch mechanic, I don't like it at all. That said, it's bones do open up space for some potentially interesting mods.
In Xenoverse 1 & 2 I always wanted my Frieza Race character to have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th forms all with the Golden Form at the end cause I think that would be really cool. But it wasn't something Dimps choose to do either because they couldn't or just wouldn't. But with the new Soul Switch system we might be able to affect something close to what I'm talking about.
Imagine if you will, you use this soul switch ability to switch between CaCs(assuming they're available in a similar way they are in Xenoverse 2) in the middle of combat instead of to a cast character.
Modders could remove the cooldowns or tweak whatever they need to tweak, and then we could create our own custom awoken skills using the Soul Switch system to switch into other CaCs we created specifically to function as the awoken form of another CaC.
If I were running things at Dimps when you make your character you'd then be prompted to make any transformed states they unlock at any point as well that way you could have this option. But I ain't in charge at Dimps so I have to hope that, like has happened many times in the past across multiple game series, the modding community will pick up the ball and run it to the goal.
This is all obviously highly speculative and might be me trying to cope about how a lame mechanic could lead to something fun and engaging.
Ain't that a little crazy that Xenoverse 1 and 2 are both the "create your own character" games but neither the first game's DLC nor the second game's literal mountain of DLC added in any new character creation options beyond clothing and accessories.
If you go to buy Xenoverse 2 on steam right now(it's on sale) its' still around 200 bucks to get it and all the DLC but in none of those many MANY DLCs are there more character creation options.
No new hair styles
No new facial options
No new body types
No new horn/tail/wing nonsense
No new races
Nothing of the sort in any of those DLCs.
I think that's a bit crazy.
I listen to audible on my PC via the browser player and when I do the text is in English like it's supposed to be.
I let my membership laps because I ran out of money but they're offering this deal that I could afford so I clicked on it.
When I did it took me to the payment screen where it switched all the text into Spanish.
If I close down my browser and go back to my library the language changes back to English but switches to Spanish again when I go to the payment screen.
What is happening and does anyone know how I can stop it?
I haven't changed any of my settings on accident or on purpose and until I clicked on that deal it had been months since I made any purchases and behaved fine when I did.
I'm very confused and concerned. Has my account been hacked? Do I need to call my credit card company?
>!This show is crazy with wild twists and turns but season 07 has been the most insane that I've seen specifically the plot line about Roger looking for his kid in the past.!<
>!Maybe I missed something obvious but it seemed like he was all about finding his son until he got a wif of his dad and then he was like "I'm sure he's fine imma go look for my dad now" and that felt strange.!<
I'm really enjoying the show though.
