This is today's progress. Just gotta paint a few deets left and do some shading, and then I'm gonna paint the remaining 360 points from my list ✨️

I'm looking for some thoughts and feedback on this list, and also maybe some suggestions for tactics and strategies as well.

It's for a seasonal teams league tournament, and I'm gonna be playing Disruption for my team (we need at least one of each disposition, so I'm taking the hit), and I'm still figuring out how to play that with what I got.

So far, here's what I'm currently doing:

• Buggies in the back. They mostly screen my deployment and tag enemies indirectly with crossfire.

• Metamorphs in the truck. They scout up, jump out, burn a crossfire target after the truck has shot at it (for the re-rolls), and then charge something.

• Brainblobs in deep strike. Rapid-ingress within terrain in battleround 2 and 3. Walk into position and get heavy weapons up a floor for Plunging Fire if possible. Fanatical Hail against a crossfire target.

• Bikes scout up. Mostly move-blocking and tossing unattended luggage. I bring them back a lot, too.

• Clamavus & crew go for my expansion. Their disguises essentially give them lone op, and the podcaster protects against enemy reserves.

• Tacos chill at home. Sometimes, they cut a car. If it comes to them. And it lets them live.

• Flacos in deep strike. Drop down. If the opponent has GEQ at home, they cook it. If not, they do a mission.

• Shanktus in deep strike. He rapid-ingresses near his target and secures the kill with Surging Broodworship.

• Saboteurs infiltrate safely behind walls. They threaten with their unattended luggage, and then one of them tosses a free grenade at something every now and then. Mortals all around, and always handy for actions.

• The Patriarch & sons infiltrate near the central objective to threaten. Talons of the Sire lets the whole unit re-roll wounds of 1, which can be nice to "fish" for dev wounds, but I don't know if it's better than the Mark of the Starchildren. I struggle giving it up, though.

• Two small squads of purestrains for uppy downy and reactive move shenanigans. One of them buffed with the Mark.

Is there something I should reconsider in here? Any tips on how to play this better? I'm just a neophyte calling to the broodmind for advice 🙏💜

I mostly play GSC, but I've decided to stand with Cadia after our final league match and for at least the start of 11th.

I've been cooking up an Armoured Infantry list to play whilst I learn how to actually pilot the Imperial Guard, and today I finished a tank ✨️
