Confusing interaction at Patagonia store
Maybe someone could help me understand a bit better.
I took 3 shorts to the Patagonia store to see about getting repairs done or other options. One of the baggies had the liner cut before I owned it and they said they could recycle that one, no problem.
The other shorts were an all wear shorts with a hole in the crotch, there must’ve been a miscommunication? Because they said could recycle this one as well even though the hole was small. So I said they could recycle them since they wouldn’t fix the hole.
The other baggies were from spring 2016 liner intact and the waistband was stretched out but otherwise shorts were fine condition wise. Was curious about getting this repaired or warrantied maybe? I take this up front and they look over it and they said best they could do was give me a 25% coupon.
Are waistbands on baggies not able to be fixed or warrantied? This is my first time taking things to a store for repair and was kind of surprised about not being able fix the hole in my shorts. Anyone had similar happen?
