People asked me how I use silver in glassblowing, so here are some marbles I just made using silver fuming! There is a black background on them (and the opal star), otherwise all the white/blues/greens are done with silver!

It’s done by super heating silver to the point that it vaporizes, causing it to turn into a “fume” that sticks to the glass!

Gold is also used for fuming! It can give glass a variety of pinks and oranges
