Will Kawi Still Inspect my bike?

So I made a post here about swapping the motor on my 2025 zx6r. It has been successful(will upload proof soon).

New motor has 409miles on it so im not sure if it has recieved the recall inspection and the sellers from ebay(motorcycle guys) aren't sure.

I entered the vin on Kawis website and it says their are no recalls, but that doesnt tell me that its been inspected.

Is it find it hasn't been inspected, though I've voided the warranty on my bike because I've put a new engine in with a different vin, is Kawi still obligated to inspect for the recall?

Should I rebuild myself?!?!

Ok guys heres the deal. I own a 2025 Zx6r with a blown engine. I own a 2025 Zx6r Engine. I have never done any Engine replacement work but I really want to learn and gain the experience, that part is important. Though I also dont want to somehow fuck up and cost me more money down the line.

Mechanic quoted me about $1000 for him to pop it in. Cool, not too bad of a price but, I dont learn any thing and now im down 1k. On the other hand I can save 1k and more importantly, learn something. Its being me and my buddy doing it who is more mechanically inclined than myself.

Here are my worries. I know nothing about an engine. Bought it off ebay with only 409 miles on it from a reputable source with good reviews. I have a video of the engine running fine on the salvage bike. MotorcycleGuys on ebay. Is there anything I need to know that I wouldnt already? At face value it seems I need to pull my old engine out, by removing the fairings, electrical lines, gas tank, maybe even detach the swing arm. Then put in said new engine, bolt it to the frame. Reconnect all the wiring, hoses and fairings. Boom good to go? Or no?

Could it really be that simple? Am I unaware of something, if so could someone inform me and most importantly should I just pay the mechanic?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Should I rebuild myself?!?! Pt 2 Engine runs good.

> This is a part 2 to my recent post to show that the engine seems to be running great. Refer back to post 1 for pics since reddit doesnt allow pics and vids in the same post it seems.

So the seat compatability cuts off at 2025 however the 2026 appears to be identical in this region of the bike. Obviously the 2026 has winglets.

Thoughts?

Personally I like the way it looks but do yall think theyre ugly?
