It’s all paintings of skaters. The first two pictures are two of my newest pieces
New pieces from my upcoming exhibit with art of blind skaters
I’m a partially blind skater/painter and I love painting skaters. Here are my three newest pieces, “Rad,” “Skater on the Periphery,” and “Friends” from my upcoming exhibit “Travelers.” Travelers will be a fully accessible exhibit inspired by real blind athletes
My solo art exhibit “Travelers” opens on Friday May 8th at the Fullerton Museum Center’s James F. Ranii Gallery. “Travelers”will feature paintings of blind skaters, based off of actual blind athletes.
Every single piece will have a large print, audio, and braille image description for blind and low vision viewers. There will also be tactile replicas of each piece.
If you want to check out this exhibit but not the main part of the museum, entry is free. “Travelers” will run from May 8th through June 13th
My show is going to be in a small gallery within a local museum. I am looking for any recommendations you may have for a first timer - whether it be about pricing, set up, promotion, or even just handling nerves. Any advice will be appreciated
