What symptoms made you get FESS surgery?

I'm a bit worried as I'm booked in for 2 weeks. Issue is I have been going to my gp for years about a cough. When I got referred to ent he said "oh sorry I didn't have you down as a cough I had you down as sinus issues from your referral"

I've had a Ct scan of sinus and he said there is definitely build ups but I think that he said that they seemed mild but if it's bothering me to proceed with FESS and deviated septum surgery.

But basically I don't know that these things will actually address my cough, I'm terrible at taking verbal information in and feel I've potentially been sidetracked into talking about only my sinus at each appointment forgetting that that's not my actual route concern

Sure my nose is always a bit blocked etc but it's the deep chesty cough that annoys me and I'm now scared fess won't fix it. I've already rescheduled it once to be met by a very cold "if you reschedule again" you'll be put back to your gp and they didn't really listen to me.

What level of symptoms actually made you go for FESS?

I get that bunged up pain but that's only maybe once or twice a year after a cold.... I'm always blowing my nose etc and coughing phlegm out of my throat in the morning etc but it's stuff I can live with, I'm wondering if for others it was at a point where you simply couldn't live with it before considering surgery..?

I've realised that whilst I love generally enjoy and engage with most matches, I just can't with anything more than a 6 man tag match etc.

I was watching a battle royale on TNA where there were loads of wrestlers in the ring and I just felt like I was watching a comedy show or something. (nothing to do with their quality of fighting etc) I just feel the amount of them in the ring adds a comedic feel to things and pulls from any seriousness there is from a more focused match between 2 people.

I know I'm probably one of few here as things like the royal rumble are a huge success but it can't be just me?

Have any match types led you to feeling similar? Or perhaps someone out there knows my struggle on the above? 😅

Im wondering if my dose is too high currently at 36mg and just cannot tell.

Basically was on it for about 9 days before upping to 54mg for about 4 days (54mg was wayyy too much for me, felt like a zombie all day and just burnt out)

Now I'm back to 36mg for about 2 weeks but I've noticed I'm maybe feeling not quite myself on it either? It's always fine until after a while of it building up over several days it's like my nervous system starts hating it after a while.

Currently I'm wondering if too high as:

Good focus at work but irritable if someone distracts me or tries to talk to me too oftern

Getting a bit snappy at night when I go to bed

Waking up occasionally thinking I'm seeing something in the rooms and realising it's nothing and going back to sleep after shooting upwards in bed

Heart beat always quite heavy during the first peak and in the late evening. Like just very aware of it when I sit or lie down etc

Potentially feeling more body anxious, like I'm not worrying about something but my body feels like I'm worrying about something.

But I'm a bit stuck as I only have 4 weeks left of titration and for the past 2 days I tried taking only my afternoon top up and around 5mg seems to get me to a nice level point but still not very in the zone and thinking about other things despite having energy. 7.5mg might be too much as i felt the urge to get up and go and do stuff very strongly but couldn't stick tasks through. And 10mg ir was wayyy to much.

Anyway my predicament is should I ask to try something like mediknet which is a 50/50 release (so I can get closer to a steady 5mg or just above it level) or trial 27mg Concerta?

And most importantly how did you guys know if a dose was too much for you? Did it happen immediately or after a while of taking them daily?
