Zeon zoysia greener at 3” than 2.5”

I’m in ATL and lowered the cut height on my Zeon zoysia in August from 3.5” to 2.5” and since doing that the dark green luster hasn’t returned. I did the cuts in .25” increments over a 2 week period. During that time and a few weeks after we had excessive heat and little rain but got alot of rain recently and it’s remained a light green. Edge areas I don’t mow that are 3+” are still dark green. I applied ironite and Milagonite 3 weeks ago but haven’t seen results. Nighttime temps here are in the 60’s and daytime temps in the mid 80’s. Current grass color is similar to when it starts transitioning to dormancy but that normally happens in November when temps drop. Any input/suggestions you might have on this is appreciated.

How to get rid of Bermuda in Zoysia lawn

This Bermuda circle is expanding every season and will eventually eradicate the zoysia. Is there a way to eliminate the Bermuda without harming the zeon?

Taking Zeon Zoysia from 3.5” to 1.5” in the GA heat

Taking Zeon Zoysia from 3.5” to 1.5” during hot summer with a Navimow x450. I’m in ATL and my lawn is .27 acres and fully established. It’s also hilly. Up to now I’ve been cutting it once a week with an ego mower so it’s gotten super thick and the grass is falling over in places. I got the x450 a few days ago and got the height down to 2”. Days here in ATL have been in the 90’s so looking for advice on whether to continue taking it lower now or wait until next spring. X450 has done 3 mows in the last 3 days and grass seems to be holding up pretty well. Thanks in advance for your advice.
