acoustic pop, is it sparse on purpose or just unfinished? I can’t tell anymore

I can’t tell if the song is just a bit too simple and there’s more room for other stuff or maybe I’ve been listening to it too much. I feel like it could use a little more instrumentation in the second verse and last chorus. Looking for suggestions on what instruments and/or vocal parts I can add to create some more uniqueness. But I’d greatly appreciate any feedback!

I wrote a song about stealing my girlfriend from her family

Technically, she moved away for a job but I selfishly wrote it from the perspective of someone feeling like a thief for stealing someone from their family. I’d appreciate any feedback! Especially on the mix and if there’s places that sound muddy.

John Johnson - Broken Glass [Indie Pop]

Releasing some music after some time! Not exactly sure what to out for the genre so indie pop seems like closing thing. Hope you enjoy! Any feedback is appreciated! Been working on cleaning up the mix a little but it still sounds a bit muddy after eq-ing and adding reverb.
