I was scratching my head trying to remove this ABS Module Connector on my 2007 C300. Looking around the web (especially the Pelican parts guide which is wrong) & at videos there was no clear guide to remove what can seem a difficult fitting. I was trying a small screwdriver at first on the locking tab. Volvo to the rescue! They have a similar fitting and have a useful diagram. One finger each side of the lock tab and *lift*. Super easy once you know how.

Second pic is of a similar Ford fitting with a useful "Lift Tabs" and two small arrows.

Looks like this connector was upgraded to something that was easier removed with a locking lever on the later series.

Took way to long to install these two but was happy when it was done. A quick run up the motorway to test no bits blowing off and a glamour shot in front of the local Volvo dealer. I still need a tow hook cover, one guy on the FB groups says he will be 3d Printing them.

Next up Speedo, driver door winder, A/C, rear door central locking etc, etc.

So happy to have this back after a minor accident. I still have to install the bottom trim molding, stone chip paint and the front lip and air dam. But it's back on the road and I'm loving it. It was a lot of fun putting the jigsaw back together.
