l just got some corydoras and they dont seem to really want anything i put in the tank. I see them sigting around all the time so maybe theyre finding things to eat elsewhere in the tank but ive tried pellets, algae wafers, and tablets and they dont seem to go for any of the pre prepared foods. They either ignore it completely or sniff without eating.

New cory owner here. Its only been a few days. I have sterbai and they are extremely skittish when im around. I see them seemingly searching the substrate for food all the time but I seldom see them really go after the bottom feeder pellets I throw in. I've been leaving them in and hoping that they will scavenge for them later which I think they are doing? im wondering if they will eventually get comfortable enough to associate me with food cause they mostly hide when im around and don't seem to want what im feeding them..

Terrified right now as I have no back ups, generators, etc. Just got into the hobby and a massive freak storm hit. Sitting in the dark typing this with no idea what to really do. I have some sterbai corys and bloodfin tetras. I dont even know when the power actually went out tonight. Gonna go stir to agitate the water and pray I guess.
