Segovia HARMONIC Minor scales???

I’ve been practicing the Segovia scales regularly and will continue to do so ad infinitum. I’ve been wanting to start working in the harmonic minor scales as well though and while I know what the harmonic minor scale is, I’m was wondering if there are any specific LH fingerings and/or positions in which to practice them in a similar fashion to the Segovia major/melodic minor scales?

I realize I can just practice them all over the neck and figure it out on my own but I’m a sucker for specifics and I’m still a beginner at classical guitar so I’m hyper focused on making sure I learn PROPERLY and in the most efficient way possible.

Firstly, all of you guys are amazing. Thank you so much for being so supportive and helpful and most of all, thank you for not roasting me for my whiny little tantrum. It’s been incredible and very encouraging to see the multitude of different approaches people have to improvisation.

I spent the night reading all of your comments and really trying to internalize and digest what everyone said. I practiced some things for a while that are real weaknesses for me, like chromatic approach notes, and went to bed. I woke up this morning and decided to work on Autumn Leaves again so I looped the A section and went at it…

GUYS…I THINK I ALMOST DID A JAZZ!!

Like I improvised something and for the first time ever it ALMOST sounded like jazz music! I’m aware that it isn’t very good and I still have A LOT of issues to iron out but man am I stoked. This is so huge for me, almost a breakthrough of a sorts.

Here’s a video, please be gentle, I know it still isn’t great but you don’t understand how much better it is than what Ive ever done before.

I’m 45 years and I’ve been playing the guitar and bass for 30+ years. I played rock/hardcore/punk/metal/Classic Rock my whole life and have been in countless bands. I’m self taught and I have a decent grasp on theory. I know how to build chords, I understand the CONCEPT of voice leading and improvisation but I just cannot do it. Like, at all. I simply cannot understand how to solo over chord changes. All I end up doing is just freaking out trying to get to the third of the next chord and playing random ass notes in the scale of the key the song is in. I know about enclosures and I know how they work, I cannot for the life of me handle doing it in a progression. This is literally the hardest thing I have ever done in my life and I am frustrated almost to the point of tears. I practice hours every day playing scales, arpeggios, etc and as soon as I start playing along to something, I’m completely lost. I have been trying to solo over Autumn Leaves for MONTHS and I don’t think I have ever played anything that even resembles jazz music. There HAS to be something I’m missing. It cannot possibly be this hard.

Admittedly, I am really out of touch with the Banana Man lore. What is exactly did Banana man to attract the ire of Akil from End It?

Not trolling, just literally have no idea what this guy did to deserve having a bounty put out on him.
