Working on migrating softphone users off CIPC and on to Webex with on-prem calling.

Am I right in thinking the IdP setup on the Webex Control Hub is a totally separate authentication plane from SAML SSO in CUCM?

I have loads of on-prem Finesse users on legacy auth and don't want to roll in a big SSO migration just to satisfy a handful of remote softphone users. It would be nice to offer off-net access to calling in the mobile app via expressway, but only if we can use our existing MFA provider.

I am genuinely curious. It's such a weird way to run an enterprise engineering helpdesk. It happens 70% of the time.
