Stake Your Claim
Manipulation 100%
This is an ability that requires the use of a war banner in order to properly utilize.
The user utters the phrase, “I claim this territory,” then stakes their banner into the ground. Once they’ve done so, they detach their en from themselves and to their banner. Everything with their en that can be considered “terrain” is now under the complete control of the user, including the ground, plant life, water, etc.
People and animals do not qualify as terrain, meaning they can still act of their own free will, but naturally the user is always aware of their presence.
In addition, the user’s en expands as time goes on once their territory has been set. Every 4 hours, the territory doubles in size, maxing out after a full 24 hours have passed. For example, if the user’s en initially covers 50 meters, then in 4 hours it will cover 100, then 200, 400, so on and so forth.
Shifting the en onto the banner removes the constant strain that it normally places on the user, but they still are spreading their aura thin, and thus can’t use it to defend themselves properly. If the banner is removed from its position, then the territory is lost, along with any expansion, meaning the user would have to start all over again.

Let me know what y’all think! I debated whether or not emission would be needed to separate the user’s en from themself, but ultimately I decided to just say pure manipulation and wait to see if anyone could/would correct me.
