Scary pune nights

Scary pune nights

Right before I clicked this pic -

I was minding my own business and riding chup chap on the far left corners of the road because I don't play around with traffic rules, cuz I have had a major road accident years back. And while doing so, god knows what F5 race was on between not so equal machineries of Eicher and Maruti Suzuki, the can and the truck flew past me with not less than speed of light and as close as 3cms from me. I immediately stopped at this point on the road and parked my bike in haste and just got off the bike coz my heart was racing.

Riding a bike in Pune late at night was the most pleasurable experience a few years back. But now, it's SCARY. With big trucks having no control on speed and cabs with no respect to red, yellow, green lights - it has become a nightmare to ride at those hours in Pune.

Does anyone here have the same experience as me?

Anyone here who has never been on the Pune metro?

Since the day of its inauguration to now I have only been under the metro infra everyday but never got a chance to be on it. And the reason behind it is the convenience of a bike, car or a cab.

I really hope it's helping a lot of people to commute from place to place. Would love to travel in it someday for sure.

Anyways, here's a pic from 1000 other pics of pune metros that I take every time I see one.
