I’m kinda leaning towards it being a woman considering everything that happens to Waylon.

In the teaser played at the CCXP convention, Ormund Hightower is giving a speech about the illegitimacy of Rhaenyra’s reign. This, along with the leaked fake!Daeron plot to trick Daemon, seems to suggest they’re really not going to give in to Rhaenyra. Honestly, I think the Hightower host is going to be the main antagonist for this season while Aegon recovers and Aemond has his plot with Alys.

Alicent wants Aegon dead, Aemond tried to kill him, Otto got booted and is missing, Helaena doesn’t GAF…It’s pretty much Aegon and Daeron until the end.
