It's done.

I’ve finally done it. After hunting down every single Showcase Scroll art treatment available, my Frodo and Sam Commander deck is officially 100% finished.

This has been a massive flavor project. Not only is every possible card in that stunning "Scroll" aesthetic, but I’ve committed to the ultimate theme: Strictly Lord of the Rings cards only. No outside universes, no generic staples—just pure Middle-earth soul in every draw.

The synergy is as thematic as it gets. It’s all about the Food tokens—it feels like you’re actually packing for the long road from Bag End. Between Samwise keeping the supplies ready and Frodo's steady resolve, the deck perfectly captures the endurance of a Hobbit’s journey. You start in the comfort of the Shire, but as the Ring tempts you, those humble meals become the fuel needed to reach the Cracks of Doom.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing the entire deck laid out with that consistent, hand-drawn manuscript look. It feels less like a pile of cards and more like a relic found in the Archives of Minas Tirith.

The Fellowship is assembled, the pantry is full, and the deck is finally exactly where I wanted it to be.

"Home is behind, the world ahead..." 🍻

(I'm aware that "The Black Gate" and "Minas Tirith" lands are in fact available in the Scrolls artwork but I wanted to run in the deck only the non-land permanents in that specific artwork for aesthetic reasons)
