SAVE OUR LIBRARIES

AND OTHER ESSENTIAL SERVICES

If you don’t want to see a cut in library services, please consider filling out the form the Long Beach Public Library Foundation has put together. Here is the link:

https://nwmd.social/s/copylink/4wiGaEWLeu7Mx7GKmu8=/b

The petition is easy to fill out, and the page gives other info on how to take action.

Also try contacting your council member directly. The more pushback they get the better. If you don’t know your council member, here is a tool to find them. Just type in your address and select “local” on the left-hand tab:

https://live.cicerodata.com/live/local

Here are the official email addresses and official phone numbers of each representative. Your message can consist of a single sentence.

“Dear (Council Member’s name),
I live in your district ask that you please not support any cuts to the library budget or services.
Sincerely,
(Your name)”

Do this with any other city service or department you feel passionately about.

Quick question for you all

Hi everyone! I’ll be shooting a camp for a good cause for free. It is mainly outdoor and unsure on how the 4k & 6k will hold up in a dusty environment & if it’s worth risking them for free work. We will mainly be outside all day.

I mainly use these cameras inside for architecture, interviews & commercial work.

Was curious on peoples experience using these cameras for prolonged periods of time outside. I’d love to give them high quality work & have a Xh2s as my backup but always favor my blackmagic’s look.

What would your recommendation be?

Pocket Cinema fans, help me out here!

Hey everyone! I don’t typically look for answers like this but genuinely curious if anyone has good input on this.

I’ve been using 4k, 6k & Ursa’s for many years & primarily use the pockets for all of my work. Everything about the picture coming out of these cameras has me coming back even after trying many others but I haven’t tried everything yet.

What I’m getting at is that I am looking for some type of mirrorless camera with a similar picture quality. I’ve graded other footage & get close sometimes, but the organic quality is always missing. I’ll be keeping the pockets but occasionally need a quicker set up.

I know we all admire these cameras, so I’m curious if you all have other cameras that match well. Let me know!
