Hey. I don't really know if this post will reach the right people, but I'll try. I've been looking for someone to genuinely share the custom card experience with, especially on DuelingBook, and it's been surprisingly difficult where I live (Brazil).
I don't just enjoy "making broken cards" or playing random duels. What I really like is the immersive and creative side of custom cards:designing archetypes,thinking about balance,creating lore,discussing themes and symbolism,
imagining stories and backgrounds behind cards,
and talking about how mechanics can reflect personality or worldbuilding.
For me, custom cards are a form of creativity and shared imagination. The problem is that most people I meet seem only mildly interested, or conversations die very quickly. Sometimes it feels impossible to find someone who actually wants to discuss ideas deeply and build things together creatively. I'd like to talk abou custom archetypes ( entirely), discussing effects and balance, lore/worldbuilding etc etc...
