[Spoiler: DLTB] Why Hate One But Not The Other?

[Spoiler: DLTB] Why Hate One But Not The Other?

Ive seen a lot of people hate Sheriff with a burning passion but then proceed to say they love Olivia. Whats the difference?

“Betray Kyle or I wont cure your father”

“Ok.”

“Betray Kyle or I will murder everyone at Town Hall”

“Ok.”

ITS THE SAME SCENARIO! If you dislike Sheriff for betraying you, you have to dislike Olivia as well

First Time Playing One Life.. I think my lifespan just decreased 10 fold

The sun went down before I finished looting. Thought hiding in a building for the night would be safe as long as I was quiet. I have learned a VERY valuable lesson

The only reason I knew of the alpha volatiles existence is due to the hint. So thanks in game hints for saving my one life

Base keeps phasing in and out of existence. Loading forever issues as well..

Whenever I leave the game while in the base, the next time I load the game it says “Building Environment” forever. I can invite friends to play the world and they see it just fine, but typically my character is just floating there, and no amount of breaking/placing blocks or pushing with a vehicle helps unstuck me

The only times ive been able to load in is turning off all my electrical devices. But I tried vastly reducing the number of wires in the base and I still could not load in when in the same chunks as my base

Any fix to this? Version 2.6. Wonder if anyone else has this problem too

I just found out you can CRAFT decorations. I been having a field day

Until this point I been buying from traders.

This unlocked a world of stuff I didnt think was possible to place in survival mode.

No, I dont know how I got through 650 hours on the PlayStation 5 version alone without knowing these existed either

To All Who Say “Grand Slam” Is Useless: Heres me combo’ing a Zombie Bear on Insane Difficulty, in 30 seconds

The bear even had help from zeds. He was ragdolled for so long that I had time to mess up several shots and fight other zombies

You dont need a full on sprint. You can sprint for half a second; just before you swing, and still get the grand slam effect

Just a few screenshots of my interior!

Have an amazing power system that could be a great but unsure if it’ll be a good story

This will be a long post but worth it.

I call this series “Power vs Power” and its elemental powers with a huge twist

One day the world is overrun by special meteors containing an unknown cosmic element.

Upon contact with select special individuals, they gain access to control over different energy types of the universe. Alongside these meteors, an alien race is probing Earth for test subjects worthy of harnessing the power of the meteors so they can use it for themselves

Examples of powers: Control over Kinetic, Potential, Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Gravitational, etc energy.

The characters/heroes would all have unique abilities that go alongside the energy they use, (ex: kinetic being able to absorb the shock of attacks, or potential being able to make any ranged weapon extremely potent, or electrical; over time/training, being able to harness plasma energy as thats a higher state of electricity)

It would eventually be revealed that the way you gain the abilities is through extreme distress. You have to have a “canon” event of sorts right before contact with an elemental meteor. And the powers are driven by your emotions. Which is why the aliens are using humanity as a testing ground to harness this energy; because they themselves have no emotions.

There would also be a main antagonist with the aliens who is potentially a human or capable of emotions, who is able to use the meteor energy, but is trying to harness more of the energy from the heroes, as he only has the one type of energy from his “canon” event. Despite him suppressing his emotions, he is extremely strong due to how damaging his past was. Maybe he could have the ability to steal other heroes energies as well and use it for himself

So its basically humanities emotions vs the aliens lack of emotions and technological superiority no matter the cost. Do humans emotions make them stronger? Or are they just a hinderance that inhibits civilizations progress?

The problem is how do I turn this concept into an actually engaging book/story? Im definitely no artist either. How do I know this is even a good concept that people would want to engage with? Im afraid i’ll make yet another elemental power slop story that isnt unique or interesting.

Someone let me know if this is something you would actually read and what I can improve on or add to the story

Have an amazing writing prompt that could be a great but unsure if it’ll be good with my skillset

The gun hes holding is the “Dragons Breath Sniper” from the game “Fortnite”

This is made cooler by the lore of the game. Essentially, every skin (character) in the game is a snapshot (a copy) of a person who has left the loop. The battle royale mode is a repetitive loop that takes these “Snapshots” and competes them against one another.

Invincible is a skin in the game, therefore it can be inferred that the skin in game is a copy of his season 2 episode 8 self during his fight with Angstrom Levy

🔥 Hot ▲ 5.3k r/Invincible_TV

I dont understand the glaze or even why hes liked at all.

He knocked an innocent astronaut out, stole his identity, and nearly caused the destruction of both Mars and Earth.. TWICE!!! And hes STILL on the gaurdians??

Not only that but because the rest of the Gaurdians were off in space dealing with the Martian ship full of Sequids, Rex, Kate, and Rae almost died because they had to fight the Lizard League alone

Shapesmith isnt even funny. Hes like mildly amusing at best, and infuriating at worst

Why the glaze? Boot this guy off the team. Rex cant give out the middle finger because of him either
