Hey yall,

I am applying to DO this cycle, and I still havent shadowed any dos. my app is ready other than the shadow. I work with several DOs and have a decent understanding of DO philosophy and i find it very attractive. I'm at 75 hours shadowing MDs and hoping to get with a DO in the next few weeks. Is it worth applying now without the shadow under my belt for the early app or should i wait to apply after getting the shadow. My top choice school recommends a shadow, but idk if its worth risking a later app.

Hey guys, I am applying to medical school this month and am just now looking at the writing requirements. I took several humanities and poli sci courses, but I never took an official writing class. Am I cooked?
