Inner frame complete
I'm finally finished with the inner frame. I'm going to start working on the armor soon.
The inner frame is fully painted.

Looking for a USS Reliant kit?
Hello All,
Over the past few years I've gotten into building models, Gunpla mostly but have done some Ma.K and other mecha builds.
I was looking for a good USS Reliant build. The last Star Trek build I did was probably 30+ years ago. And from what I remember, they were AMT kits and the fitment was pretty lacking. TOS Enterprise, refit Enterprise, Bird of Prey.
Can you recommend a good USS Reliant kit that is available?
I'd like to try my hand at the Aztec paint scheme as well and consider myself moderately skilled with an airbrush.
I don't know if I'd be ready for a printed resin kit, and I've never done lighting on a kit before.

Been working on the shield, I'm still going to complete all of the inner frame and then start the armor.
To be honest, it is going to be tough putting the armor over these last 4 months worth of work on the frame.
Small slow steps!
