Chaos Rising Pulls!

Found at Target and waited in line for an hour. Only bad part about the experience was the old lady wouldn’t let my kid check out the items (he likes scanning everything) himself and was a prick about it ha ha. People in line were great though! I was nervous there would be fights but luckily there wasn’t.

Pulled this today…

My life has succumbed to check the Walmart where I meet for my Ride-share every morning (6am) and evening drop off (5:30pm). I have no idea when restocks are and don’t trust staff so I just do it myself ha ha. Somehow, there was nothing yesterday evening and then when I went this morning I found probably 8 or 9 packs of the Oddish pack. I don’t understand why only this was restocked? Any ideas?

Got my hands on two though! I’m not an ass hat that would buy all of them. (Walmart only has limit of 5 products which is crazy high to me considering).

After all this, I pulled a glorious Mega Lucario Ex! My son was ecstatic to say the least. After buying that scummy EM LLC pack (or whatever they’re called) the other day, this felt really good.

Scam or Alright?

Fairly new to this. I’m always on the lookout for cards to collect with my kids. I don’t really care about resale but I also don’t want to fuel the bullshit over valuations, scams, scalpers, etc… so I’ll never buy over msrp therefore always shop in store or online. Didn’t realize until I got in the car that this is basically resealed product from ripped packs. Does it matter? Should I skip these and return them and just know better next time? I just wanted to know before I open it so I can take it back if needed.

Again, the point isn’t collecting or investing, it’s just the principle of the matter.

Edit: General consensus is don’t do it with random one offs of actual hits. I’m glad they’re at least real cards, my kids ripped em anyway and they don’t care obviously ha ha. The majority of them being energy cards was a little rage inducing ha ha. Now I know better for next time. Thanks all!
