New shirt finally came today 🙏

New shirt finally came today 🙏

One of the many reasons I love the USP was seeing its brief use by Phil McCauley in Heat especially when he lays it on the counter of his empty luxury condo when he gets home with his keys and wallet. Since it’s one of my favorite movies when I saw this shirt pop up online I had to get it lol it’ll look even better with the USP compact tucked in an IWB holster under it 😂

Made it to me before my 16 hour road trip and vacation 🙏

Took it to the range yesterday and fell in love with it. Anyone know of good carry holsters for it? IWB or whatever the only thing is I’m left handed which makes the search even more fun 🥴

Took the kids to the park today. They had a blast 🔫

Hit up the range first thing this morning ironically the guy next to me had a .40 cal P2000 which he let me shoot a few times

Range day with the SRA homies today

We all brought a cornucopia of different firearms and had a great time in the 90 degree Southern humidity lol. Pictured here are my USP 9mm, Glock 17, and Springfield SA 35. Rifle is my LWRC AR 15 aka my second child

The Crown Jewels of my collection

I have a few 9mms that would be the runner up but the old school Cold War pistols (the H&K is kinda “end of history” era since it’s from the 90s lol) will always be my favorite. I can be a boomer with my taste for getting good with iron sights over optics lmao I do have red dots on several of my other optics ready options but I still love this overbuilt old school Mercedes Unimog looking ass handgun aka my USP 9mm. Rifle is an ambi LWRC IC DI 15 with a Holosun 510C (I think I need to check the box lol) and I’ve got an LPVO packed with it just in case. Just wish I had more mags for the USP :( that’s one of the downsides is you can’t just walk in somewhere and buy them like a Glock or other common pistol brand

It’s finally here

It’s hard when you work for the company that is shipping your firearm to the FFL because everyday for almost a week the first thing I did when I clocked in was type in the tracking number to see where it was at in the system. Finally Friday afternoon I got the call that it was ready for pickup and I went afterwork to finally after days of waiting get my hands on it. I’ve ordered a couple extra mags as well including a twenty round one from the HK store and hope to make it to the range to break it in this week if I get off early enough, first impressions is this thing feels like a tank but somehow fits my hand comfortable than my P30L does which surprised me. I plan to switch the de cocker/safety to the right side since I’m left handed and maybe get a new trigger in the future

Finally

My first game system was a PS2 when I was 11 and the game my parents bought with it was Metal Gear Solid 2 (pretty graphic game to give a child looking back on it lol). I remember the Tanker chapter and seeing the USP you picked up and thinking it was the coolest pistol in the World. Then I saw it in Rainbow Six,Call of Duty, and countless other films and movies of the late 90s/early 2000s. My bad for the rambling but this has been a personal goal of mine for years and I’m finally in a spot where I can financially afford it. I could get a newer pistol but I’ve already got a few of those and I’ve been wanting to own one of these for twenty something years at this point, to me it’s almost like owning a piece of long lost culture from that late 90s/early GWOT era and all the movies and games I grew up with. Now the waiting begins until I get that call from my local shop along with the hunt for extra 9mm magazines if anyone has a plug lol

Finally scratched the H&K itch

All my life since I first saw the brand in my gun reference books (yea it was realllll fun being that kid in the early 2000s) video games and movies I’ve wanted to own some kind of H&K pistol like a USP or a P2000. The first two were pretty hard for me to find in my price range but a local place had this P30L for sale right at what I could spend and after trying the compact one and this I decided to grab it while I could. It def fits like a glove but the trigger is kinda “meh” so I’ll probably throw in an upgrade when I can. Other than that though I love it

Looking for a compact 9mm

What would the best place be to buy a USP compact 9mm online? The lowest I’ve seen was 1078$ I figured that’s probably my best bet right now but didn’t know forsure

In the late 90s to early 2000s I grew up watching and playing all the James Bond movies/video games and wanted a PPK or a P99 so damn bad lol. Now I’m an adult with a job that allows him to listen to his inner 10 year old self and buy the closest thing to a P99 he can find 😂 in all honesty I’m glad I did this pistol is killing the game and I already carry it over my Glock 19 that I’ve carried now for almost 3 years. Pictured here with my CZ 75BD
