CO2 for nanoaquarium

CO2 for nanoaquarium

I know the subject has been covered many times but either the information is old or not relevant to small tanks. Im new to planted tanks and have a 3 gallon with a betta and a snail. This started off as a fish tank. Off other posts, I was going to get a GLA system but their nano system is "coming soon" or out of stock. I live in a city that I dont know who fills tanks so I was looking at the disposable bottle systems. I know they are more costly but it doesnt matter to me. Does anyone know of any good systems out there for small aquariums that uses disposable bottles? Any luck with co2 tablets until the gla system is in stock? Also, i dont know what I should use for micro and macro nutrients for the plants.

Help with whatever this is

I have something growing in my closed terrarium. Its been closed for at least a year and is a healthy terrarium. This has started to grow in the past month or so. Its not a lot but some is down in the soil. Activated charcoal was used but maybe not enough? Its by a window and I rotate it every two weeks if that matters. Its not overly wet in there. Im an amateur.
