Long termers - what would you do different?

My husband and I just over two weeks in. We did this before a couple of years ago and only lasted a month. This time we are feeling much better and already feeling the benefits. We did this as a pre and post surgery plan for an op he had this week. I said I’d join in solidarity. My reflux and carpal tunnel symptoms have gone doing this.

I’m leaning towards doing this indefinitely for a variety of reasons. I have historically had a lot of issues with overeating and this way of eating, along with a lot of therapy about the underlying reasons why, over the last few years, has brought me a lot of peace. I also detest cooking and doing this way of eating eliminates cooking stress. It’s so easy.

So I’m asking you carnivore veterans if you could have your time over again in the beginning, what would you do differently?

Thanking you in advance.

My husband is having a haemorrhoidectomy this month. I’ve been on this sub for a while, reading what I can and trying to work out what to expect.

From the point of view of those of you who have been through this, what did you need from someone on hand to help care for you?

He will, no doubt, try and just deal with this himself but I want to be there for him to help in any way I can.

What did you need when you were recovering?
