I'm the president of a newly established space club at my community college. I was initially planning on attempting to compete for the IREC, but I've seen somethings where its absolutely not for new teams. Is it possible to at the bare minimum qualify? what are some other rocketry competitions, or aerospace competitions that are beginner friendly?
I'm planning on establishing a SEDS chapter (Students for the exploration and development of Space) at my community college. This is my time leading something at this caliber. My biggest question is advice on how to actually run the club. My plan is to have it be a long term engineering project where we are building a rocket for collegiate level competions. How do i make sure everyone is involved? How does each meeting look like? How do i divide up tasks?

I am about to graduate highschool, and will be attending NOVA, and will be geting my associates in engineering. I am planning on transferring after my first year? I have a bunch of AP's and Dual enrollment credits from highschool, how do I have them transfer over to NOVA? Also, I have a 3.5 gpa from my dual enrollment classes. Am I cooked, or what should i do?
